Eric Houser Co-Chaired the Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual Food from the Bar campaign in 2018 with abundant success. This impactful campaign brings the legal community together for one common goal, to end hunger in Orange County and raise awareness of our food insecure neighbors.
This campaign ran from May 1st through June 4th and all the companies involved were able to compete by earning points for donating funds, food and volunteer hours. This is the firm’s second year participating and the campaign has already grown to over 50 participating firms. The entire firm is incredibly proud to donate time for such a worthy cause and walked away with the honor of winning the Top Fundraiser Award, Highest Per Capita Award and Overall Award for our participation in this campaign.
Employees from across the country helped to donate and feed the hungry in Orange County. Our efforts alongside other great firms worked together to provide over 127,000 meals, 8,500 pounds of food and 507 volunteer hours. This is an annual event that Houser & Allison, APC will be a part of for years to come.
