Shawn Cummings is an experienced litigation attorney with Houser LLP in their New Mexico office. Shawn attended college at the University of New Mexico where he obtained a B.A. in political science. Shawn graduated from the UNM School of Law in 2008 and has been practicing law in New Mexico ever since. In his career before joining Houser LLP, Shawn was named a Southwest Super Lawyer Rising Star for multiple years. He also served as the General Counsel of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions after being appointed by the Governor of New Mexico. Shawn now uses his years of legal experience to represent clients in a broad range of cases, including complex commercial litigation.

In his spare time, Shawn is a marathon and ultra-marathon runner and has finished numerous races across the country with finishes at Boston, Seattle, Phoenix, El Paso, San Francisco, Aspen, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Valles Caldera, Jemez, Albuquerque, and Leadville.
